I like this a lot. It's "highway music" for sure! The cymbals seem a little bit loud to me, but not overly loud, just enough to distract the guitar tho, imo.

    Hey Eric
I really enjoyed the flow of this piece. I agree, the performance is excellent. I love the tone of the guitar and the way its sitting in the mix.  MIx sounds clean and clear on my end.  KUDOS!

Really nice feel to this song.  I love the chord changes and the way you played and mixed it.  If I had onc crit (personal preference)  it would be that the cymbal seemed a bit loud.  It's late though and I could be just tired!  Spent the last 6 hours at the Diamondbacks game and alumni game.  This is fine music, Eric.

Eric, this is a terrific song that just makes me want to dance the night away.  Beautiful guitar work and percussion makes this a winner.  The ride cymbal is noticeable, but not distracting.  Great job.

    All the best,

    Hi, Eric,

This is truly fantastic!  I really love the jazzy rhythmic vibe, the percussion is excellent, and the guitar tone and tasty playing is absolutely spectacular.

Dynamite job, buddy, and best wishes for a very speedy recovery!

loved the original version but you have nailed the mix on this version (ride/bell cymbals maybe a tad too loud)
Here's to a quick and full recovery. Cheers

I would lower the ride cymbals a tad bit, but not too much as it is part of the arrangement. Bring the guitar up just a tad bit more too. Let me suggest that when you are playing the main melody with the guitar, have the horns play the main melody too to emphasize it. When you are doing your solos you can back off the horns. That way you have two distinct part of the song. You can have the horns add some emphasis in the transitions. Right now it sounds like you have only one part all the way through.

Otherwise excellent playing on the guitar. Love the feel of this song.
