Feature Request - Plugin Slots with Grid level bypass

More and more often I find that I want to put the same plugin on every channel.  I've been doing this with NLS, and SSL Channel strips for a while and now I'm using roundtone.  Sometimes one of these plugins will cause problems with Latency and buffer size problems.  I would like to be able to turn them all on/off at once.

Feature to solve this problem

Sequential plugin slots that can be bypassed accross channels.  So Bypass this Bin, Bypass Bins of this kind, and bypass this effects slot.

This would also be helpful in A/B'ing chennel strips etc accross a project.  By being able to set up a work flow where X is always in A slot and Y is always in B slot I think a lot of possibilities open up.

The FX and route your tracks to those buses. You shouldn't have to place the same FX on multiple tracks unless you need to have each setup differently. One major use for buses.

Irregardless,  I have 22 tracks and 9 busses.  Chennel strips go on tracks as well as nls channel instances and multi track tape sims like Studer a800 or (the much cheaper) roundtone.  I eq tracks individually and vocal tracks are absolutely treated individually for lots of reasons.

If I want to turn off all the tape sims on a project it can be a PITA.  Even if it were possible to work effectively without inserting anything directly on the track I dont get your point.  I still want to work accross a grid rather than bypassing a channel/buss or all Channels/Busses.  I'd like to be able to work across "rows" for lack of a better word.

I'd file a feature request.  Perhaps something like quick-grouping for FX Bins where a Ctrl+Click would disable/enable the plugin in the selected FX Bin slot.
