Recorded Audio Delay

Hello,
I am sure someone has touched this topic before, but due to differences in software and situations, I have decided to just post a new topic.

Essentially, I am trying to record live audio on top of some music I have created in Sonar. However, the recorded audio on multiple projects is coming in soon and appears to be sped up.

Any help would be great!

What I am using:

Alesis Io2
Sonar Home Studio 6

Thanks again!

    Welcome to the forum.
Make sure that the audio interface and SONAR are using the same sampling rate and bit depth.

How do I do that? I am at work now, so I cannot go and look, but I want to make sure we are on the same page.

    Thanks a million!

I don't know how to check/set that in the Alesis, but in SHS 6 you click Options at the top, then set the sampling rate and bit depth. Also check Options>Global for those same settings there.

I just checked the Alesis web site; the iO2 can use up to 48,000 Hz and 24 bit.
There should be some type of software mixer or preferences menu for the Alesis where you can change the settings. Or maybe actual switches on the box.

Success... I just messed with the bit-rate a bit and got it. Thanks a million!
