You and Imogen are like this? (holds up crossed fingers).

Is this a new mix contest? Because I can hear your guitar all over this. So you're not just mixing her song, and you're playing the harp on it too.

It sounds really good. And I hear your horns. Not sure if you're doing everything except the vocals or not.

I recognize the classic vintage guitar played through the vintage amp "sound." It has a Claptonesque tone.

You may want to check your rig though? I could have sworn I heard it "whistle" at 1:49?

    Sounds as good as ever.

You know, I was actually digging back through some of my old mixes a few days ago and came across this tune..... I started to work on a new mix as well..... but I stopped and jumped around to a few other tunes from back in the day. Since right now, I am not writing anything new.... it is very possible I will pull one of the old ones out.... bake it a bit more with some new ****es (s.p.i.c.e.s) and simmer it a bit with some new tracks.....

Might be this one...or maybe another one... only time will tell.

    Enjoyed it Frank.

    Thank you for listening...
My old friend, and band mate, Greg was in town a while back, and brought over his Tenor Sax, and laid down some fine soloing on this Imogen Heap track I produced  earlier... I had forgotten how good Imogen’s vocals sounded, and decided to remix this vocal version... hope you enjoy...

Thanks Robby... Yes Imogen and I are tight... I'm still waiting for her call, asking me to go out on tour with her... or to produce her next album...
I wrote and recorded this music for a music writing/arranging/production competition she instigated by posting just her vocal track, and inviting independent musician/producers to write and produce music for her vocal... I think there were hundreds of  submissions from around the world... this was mine...  there were a few submissions from others on this forum... I remember Herb (GuitarHacker) produced a cool track... I'll try to find a link the some of those other productions...

My track is called "I know you're up to it" and it's on my soundclick 2nd page.  That was a really fun thing she did....and she was supposed to pick her favorite 10 versions.....out of over 500+ versions submitted..... most were just weird sampled and looped but a handful were really well done and thought out, and musical...Frank's version was one of the better ones IMHO.  Several other folks here on cake also grabbed her vox tracks and did a rendition..... but I don't recall the names of everyone that participated.

It was shortly after this time that Robby posted some lyrics he had written and asked those who wanted to, to grab them and write a melody and do a similar thing....IIRC..there were 12 or so cakers who jumped into that project..... Missing Person.
