Hey while were on the subject, what you all think of this one.

I had to re install my OS on my old beater computer I use for internet.
I was using internet Explorer 8 and MS security essentials.
I wasn't even using the internet when a splash screen took over and displayed that it had locked my computer because I was sending out copyrighted material in violation of the laws.  of which I am  innocent.  If this was happening then it was somehow behind my back.

It said it was the "internet police" or something, didn't look that close figuring it was soon to be nuked by me....,  I figured it was just a pop up. But I couldn't get to my desktop, even in safe mode. Just a grey screen.
I tried every trick in the book and finally gave up and pressed F9 and did a fresh install. take that you bastard. die scum ware.. anyhow all is good  butt---
What a pain to have to reinstall software and drivers.
No data or personal stuff is lost as I store all that on a second drive, I never store stuff on the OS drive anymore.

This is a worry. It's also not the first time I've read about MSSE being breached severely.
