Midi Piano Roll View Question

Is there a way to click on several notes in piano roll view and change the track they are associated with?
 
Only way I know is to go to the track view and copy a bar and paste it onto the other track, but in piano roll view, it would be cool if you could just click on the set of notes that should go on another track.
 
 
Is there a way in piano roll view to tie one note to another to effect a slide?

Nope.

You'll need to do a pitch bend under control of an envelope.

Most soft synths have their bend range default at +/- 2 semitones If this isn't enough you'll need to alter this parameter in your synth.

Then I'd try recording the automation you want via a hardware synths pitch wheel

Use ctrl + z to undo it if you don't like it. Practice it until it's perfect

Then you'll probably want to go in and thin out the controller data (there's a command somewhere just for this - is it a Cal? I think it might be

Finally, at the end of your pitch bend - reset the controller back to zero or everything else following the bend will be out of tune.
