X2 Smart tool behavior changed? - ANSWERED

I checked help for the answer to this first, but looks like I should still be able to get the 4-way arrow when hovering over the lower half of an audio clip for selection? I made sure I have the Smart Tool selected but all I'm getting is an arrow that constantly drags a vertical 'now time' line around, this is no matter where I hover in the clip, can't figure out how to click select a clip. What am I missing?

Try hovering the cursor over the clip header. It should change to the 4-way arrow and allow you to drag and drop.

Yup, that's it! FYI this is not reflected in the article on the Smart Tool in help. Thanks!

The Smart Tool seems significantly different in behavior, no upper/lower half behavior. This will take some getting used to.

The upper lower behaviour is now segregated by the clip header when expanded and the same 50/50 split when clips are minimised.

That is helpful and now that I'm playing with it I think I'm going to like this way better. Thanks! Loving the Breverb, sounds real nice.

I recommending studying the HTML documentation on the behavior of Tools in the various views. They have changed in subtle ways in X2, and the offline (CHM) help file is not accurate on this subject.
