A version of BREVERB called BERVERB SONAR is included. The full version of BREVERB 2 is available as an upgrade. Read this http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2661194

I believe BREVERB "lite" is included with X2, as is TH2 "lite".   I upgraded to both full versions as I found them to be most excellent. (even before the release of X2.)

How well does TH2 compare with Guitar Rig5?

breverb and th2 are both lite versions i believe.
youll need to buy the full versions if you want all the marbles.
but for what its worth...the lite versions usualy have some great sounds.

It's kind of apples and oranges.  I've heard some people say that TH2 sounds better with the non-distorted tones (reverb, delay, chorus, etc) and GR and Amplitube have better heavily distorted tones.  I really haven't noticed that big of a difference, but then again all my guitars are virtual (RealGuitar, RealStrat, RealLPC) so someone playing a real guitar might notice a bigger difference.  But I can say I really do like TH2, it's at LEAST as good as GR and Amplitube, and I've been using it exclusively for about the past two weeks.

That's a good upgrade price for TH2. Bit of a no brainer.

I may wait until all the hub-bub settles down, and I get the usual onslaught of Cake emails with discounts, deals of the month, and pre-Thanksgiving, Black Friday, pre- Christmas stuff. Sometimes the price drop is really irresistible, if one doesn't mind waiting. This was evident with the Pro-channel extra plugs. Waiting would have paid off for sure, as the prices dropped pretty good.
