Early X2 adopters: any changes in Staff View?

To my knowledge, Staff View wasn't mentioned in the promos, and there were no comments from Cakewalk in threads about it. If this has been improved, I will upgrade. Thanks.

    No major changes unfortunately. However, there is one new addition to the Staff View I was pleasantly surprised to see and that is support for horizontal mouse wheel scrolling. That was driving me nuts in X1. I know it's a little thing but it really helps the workflow.

    @Hansenhaus

    Nice to hear that a small bone was thrown our way - or maybe it was an accident and will soon be disabled in an upcoming patch (I kid, I kid).
    @rio - nice new avatar

    I think it may be too early to ask about the SV.  The boys and girls are just unwrapping their new toy.

    I am as curious as you, but the only changes I could imagine would be cosmetic (like the note value icons which Benstat had in Sonar Plus) or hopefully some HUD / Smart Tool improvements to help with work flow.

    I can't imagine there would be any change in what or how notation is displayed in the SV.  I think that is were the dead or un-maintainable language behind the SV lives - which I believe is making it impossible for the Bakers to make any real changes.  (but you knew that already).

    One thing which is kind of nice from http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2646255

    j = scrub
    d = global draw tool
    e = global erase tool
    s = global select tool

    Come to think of it, there were icons for next and previous notes

    If these were also made available as icons in SV and/or in the HUD, it would at least help with work flow.
