Can you give us all a bit more info? Are the installers not running, or is the install finished and SONAR X2 itself not running?

If it's the installers not running, check out this post/thread: http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2666424

Did you use a download manager (if using Internet Explorer)?

Can you help me get it up and running, Ryan ? Thanks 2012/09/20 15:19:48 (permalink)
I don't get it unless it's something to do with my computer being 64bit.  Are the download folders both??

There's only one set of files. When you run the Sonar install file it will ask you if you want to install the 32-bit or 64-bit version.

Ryan, this is how I got it to work. 2012/09/20 18:04:17 (permalink)
When I switched from my 64bit explorer to my 32bit and used free download manager, they all downloaded fine and allowed me to use the "run as system administrator" at least so far it's working. It ran all 3 Sonar Producer X2 files and now it's running the "basic" install files which are taking quit a while.  Sorry if I seemed curt, I do seem to have trouble every year, but I'm sure some of it is my problem. :) I do seem to be quit anxious to get it up and running and it's quite maddening when I run into trouble.  Ok, well let's hope it keeps loading up.

    Thanks

I have begun the process here and it seems achingly slow, so far I have series of 'Extracting Setup-x-bin' messages. I have no idea where they are being extracted to or why it is taking so long to do so. It's like watching carrots grow. Is this normal? It would be nice to know where the extracted files are so that I don't have to go through this again if I need to install again.

yep subtle , thats right.. it's like the nvidia installer.. it chucks out the install files to a folder then installs from that.

I did look for the files using windows search, but found nothing.. but well I'm sure it don't make that much difference time wise.

Thanks Dan. (I've been merging your threads for my own sanity since it's easy for me to follow up in the same one).

Don't worry about seeming curt, I'm sorry anyone would experience any issues in the first place. I totally can understand wanting to get things up and running. You folks are what we're here for, so if you're upset... I'm upset ;)
