are loops and one shot new material? If I have X1 with full installation already, do I still need to download these?

If you don't know whether you have or haven't got them - navigate to C:\Cakewalk Content and there under Audio Library should be 2 folders named Loops and One Shots.

if they are there then you likely have the content if they aren't then you don't.

I seem to remember they where referring to the loops and one-shots in the webinair of being material from the old beatscape. I don't know if beatscape is still installed with X2 (sadly I had to wait a little until I had enough money for X2). If not - I guess beatscape is removed, but the samples remained and are reused.

I checked the download link of the "loops and one shot" the part one is 1.29GB, part 2 is 1.92GB, part3 is one 1.07GB with a total of more then 3GB. Then, I check C:\Cakewalk Content /audio content (X1) and the total content is 1.2GB. My conclusion is that the download has tons of new material if not entirely new. I am going to download it once I had finished with my X2 installation.

Thanks for responding, Mike. BTW, please forgive my ignorance. Where is ballarat?

The loops and One shots are just extra content. they were included with X1 too. I'd say the are the same files in X2 so if you have them no need to download them
