1200baud dial up? Get back to me next year...... maybe by Christmas... after they have the bugs worked out... Seriously... does anyone still use 1200baud dial-up? Yep... I do.... not for internet but for a business connection I have and need....across the phone lines..... no lie.

For me it took 2.5 hours to get everything downloaded, though I was getting 300k-1.3m bps, because a couple of files got corrupted during the transfer. Silly me should have plugged into my network instead of using wireless. It would have been faster and more reliable. I guess I was too excited. :)

I live in South Africa bro, I'll need about 3 days to download this - no kidding. The good old corporates have a massive strangle-hold on our communication industry, and they're raping it. A bit harsh, apologies to anyone affended.

Crappy UK broadband here. I started mine off last night using FDM, which did appear to "accelerate" the download speed. Started off at 400kbps but at times it was dropping to just under 100kbps. I left if going over night and all was done when I got up this morning. Only worry now is that the log in FDM was showing some access denied messages. But all the files appear to be there and of the correct size, so fingers crossed. I'm just backing up my downloads to my external drive and I'll be installing X2 any minute...

My experience was horrid (with 10Mbps connection). Tried two different machines and finally installed Chrome and it was better but not good. As it is now when I left home I was on the 2nd file of X2. I'm downloading (parts 3 and 4) here at work (T1 connection) with Chrome and it is still about 30 minutes per. Very disappointing experience, will go with the boxed discs next time. Regards,

Still bet the d/l gets there before the disks do. I ordered disks with the presale but am still waiting for them. Meanwhile the d/l is finished. Steve

Copied all files to a created X2 folder - came in at 18.3gbs - All extracted with no probs and X2 seems to be working ok. Rapture & DimPro re-registered with new serials, Beatscape & Zeta working ok. Added ProChannel presets to X2 content, all fine up to now. Good luck everyone.
