X2 Automation lanes - how to bypass a lanes effect? [solved]

In the "whats new " section of the documentation under automation lanes it says "Ability to quickly bypass individual automation parameters." , which i took to infer a "mute" function on the automation lane in question.. which of course got me all excited.... but i dont see it..ideas?..

Yes you can do so. What the documentation is referring to is Automation read enable. If you turn off automation read for that lane you are bypassing rendering of that parameter exclusively.
Per lane automation read/write as well as the new per lane value slider makes it particularly useful when dealing with effects/instrument parameters even if you don't actually want to record an envelope since you can very quickly adjust a parameter value value without opening up the plugin UI.  The latter is one of my favorite use cases for lanes.

How to delete all un-used track or automation lanes in one go?

Noel! Can you please add so if you select---> many Tracks and then "ALT + Click" to change ICONS. You change all selected tracks icons, to same Icons that you select; in ONE GO, please?

Today you can only change "one track" ICON. So for example if I have 20 tracks that I want to use the same ICON, I need to repeat the process 20 times over to change the icons... Not very effective

Thank you Noel,  I had always just manually drawn envelopes in the past and never read the full details of read/write (so my bad).. I see that disabling read will hold the value at current state and the the slider can then be twiddled without affecting the envelope.. this will come in handy for setting limits for h/w synths
