DELL XPS Users

Is anyone else noticing lost connection with their Mouse if they dont go in regularly and empty the Picture Cache files?

    Wow! this is a new one.  I used to do a lot of support on the Dell forum (I was on there for 10 years and 37K posts).  The 8100 has had several problems, including the Intel motherboard chipset issue,  but I don't recall any mouse problems.

    Is the problem general with anything or just with Sonar?

    As far as I can tell its just when Im using Sonar.

    I know the picture cache within Sonar is suppose to clean itself out when it hits a certain level.

    I find myself every so often (maybe every month or so) needing to go in and clean out the folder.

    Some of my indications its time are;

    the mouse will starting dropping off/going dead
    different plugs will get very choppy
    the screen tends to freeze & jump

    and it all appears to be related to Picture Cache

    I would think its gotta be something on the computer and not Sonar. Maybe a process getting bound up because of the Picture Cache causing it.  No Idea

    Not a show stopper, just an inconvenience.
