Buggy X2 install *SOLVED*

Apparently, the file is corrupted. The install gets so far, then gives errors about its inability to copy files fro the corrupted install file. Arg.

I downloaded these in IExplorer 8 - was this a mistake?

Ideas?

Yes - it appears to have been the browser - I am confirming the solution for anyone else who needs to know this: don't use IE 8.x to downloadthe files.

    X2 is now installed.

I used chrome and when I double clicked to open part 1 exe I got an error message that says package integrity check failed: the package has been truncated or corrupted, and will close . Please try to obtain a valid copy. I am going to try to download part 1 again. Hopefully, I won't get this error again.

So far, the process has been fine for me. It's ironic that Firefox works well for the download - but sucks for this forum.

Ok, reloaded part 1 realized that it was user error. If you read it says turn off your antivirus. I wanted to just get into it and skipped the reading part. I figured I read everybody else's issues and could just bypass that part.

I was wrong and by the way this is the best sonar ever! The sound is incredible!
