X2 bug (?) and workaround: Isolating take lanes in PRV
From a take lane you may right click the clip icon on top right of the take lane clip and select "show in PRV".. only to be very surprised that the PRV is track based and will show the midi content of all takes in that overlapping each other, making it near impossible to isolate a take for edit... If you wanted to see the entire track you can do so by putting the track to PRV and so, given that you wished to see just that take clip..i assume this is a bug.
So, until there is a better method to select takes vs tracks in the PRV, to isolate a single take in the PRV you can :
1. Manual select all take lanes of no interest using ctrl+click. (blue indicator at left of take # window is lit)
2. right click on header of one clip and choose clip mute.. all take lane clips selected should mute with a red circle
3. select take lane clip of interest and select "show in PRV"
4. in PRV under views select "hide muted clips"
hope it helps someone
