Import color file into X2 from X1

I exported a *.clr file from X1 to import into X2.

It's not working; the colors in the import file are not overwriting the choices in X2.

Suggestions?

I did this too, but alas it doesnt keep the mapping of ONLY audio clips background to white. it also makes the midi clips white.

Just Googled it and found this thread. Yeah, I really would like to import X1 colors into X2. X2 looks more cartoon-ie and dated vs. X1, which looks elegant and easy on the eyes. Any ideas? I don't want to have to do this manually; that's a lot of Trial and error, or a lot of color title digging. Thanks!

Found it. If you wish to grab the color scheme of X1 for X2, do this: 1 - Select EDIT, PREFERENCES, and then COLOR. 2 - At the top, for "Presets", click the pull-down arrow and select "X1 Light". That should do it as much as I needed, anyway. It's not perfect, but I think it looks better than the default X2 color scheme, which confuses my eyes often. X2's Skylight is a bit more confusing than X1, in my opinion, but still useable. You NEED a BIG monitor, or two of them.

X2 GUI is a bit different than X1 so some X1 colors won't take. Clip backgrounds are one example.
