Give it time. No software is perfect.

I do think that this roll out is the best CW has ever had.

Their quality control did its job!

Really for me (I keep banging on about this) but X1 was a right twat to edit with, really clumsy...

X2 has been retuned and edits along like a dream.

My only gripe is that we had to pay for the roll out when X1 was clearly flawed in terms of editing....

Its a very minor gripe as I'm happy to support CW....

Jumping from 8.5 to X1 was HELL but X2 has returned to the lovely flow 8.5 had.....

I like that the waveforms on muted tracks are muted in color. Not sure if that's new to X2, but I just noticed it.

I'm sure they will have a few hiccups but I doubt they will have a repeat of the first run, I like the Silverlight GUI but I will give a little time to mature. All and All I think they got a lot better this time my friends.

I like the way Sonar support is all over this forum in the aftermath of the X2 release, explaining new features, helping with problems, and holding a few hands, mine included. I think they knew Cakewalk blew it with X1 (bugs and stability issues), and wanted to avoid a repeat. They also wanted to keep a close ear to the ground. That's good business, and much appreciated.
