You only need my PluginManager.
Specify the root folders to all your plugins. It will create a folder containing native x64 and x32 jBridged x64 plugins for you automatically, when you have jBridge installed. No need for the jbridger tool.

JBridge helps with some plug/synths REALLY well as an alt to Bitbridge.
You need to work out through trial and error which works best for each plug/synth.
Kontakt for me is a JBridge MUST whereas anything Sonar related like DimPro is a BitBridge MUST.
Its trial and error tho.
Overall tho, JBridge is a bloody essential tool to have.

OK - My apologies... I'm assuming that I run JBridge first, and then PluginManager second? Or do I run PluginManager first, to create the folders, and then JBridge second to wrap/point them there? Thank you.

You only run the PluginManager.
Basically, what jBridge does is: it creates a new plugin dll, which loads another plugin dll.
By running the jbridger tool, you create these new plugin dlls.
You don't have to run jbridger anymore, because the plugin manager creates the new dlls for you.
Plus, it keeps your plugins and your various dll files (original plugin, jBridge dll, automap dll etc.) organised. It creates a folder for your host to scan and puts the relevant dlls in this folder or in subfolders, as you categorizes your plugins.

You don't need to do any of this.
jbridge works directly with SONAR. You just install jbridge and that's it! In your SONAR plugin manager click on the properties of the plugin and there is now a box to tick to use jbridge with it. This creates a text file with the jbridge settings in it. DO NOT create a new dll file - that is not necessary. That's for *other* hosts that don't work directly with jbridge.
To recap:
- install jbridge
- leave all your 32 bit plugins exactly where they are
- if you want to use jbridge with them, go into SONARs plugin manager, into the properties of a plugin and tick the box for "use jbridge".
- that's it!

Unless you have multiple hosts. JBridge stores its settings along with the bridged plugin, so multiple hosts that use the plugin jbridged share the same settings, which doesn't work for every plugin.
You could however use the pluginmanager and don't use jbridged plugins, and use sonars pluginmanager to enable jbridging plugins...
Either way your plugs in sonar have individual jBridge settings with my pluginmanager.

Unless you have multiple hosts. Of course - but I was assumoing we're talking about SONAR here. So if you're only using SONAR - don't overcomplicate things

Managing your dlls, separating x32 from x64, categorizing with sonars plugin layouts is already complicated enough even with sonar alone. My tool will make things really easy. ;)

Sorry - TabSel,
I didn't even realise that you were talking about your own plugin manager. I don't even know what that is ;-)
I was just talking about the OP wanting to set up jbridge, and it all sounded way more complicated than is should be.
So the advice should be either:
- just install jbridge and enable it for the plugins you want it to wrap
or
- check out TabSels plugin manager (in which case you don't even need jbridge).
Is that right? ;-)

not quite right. My PluginManager supports jBridge, if it's installed. It can't bridge plugins on its own.
Besides other functionality, it "replaces" the jBridger tool and creates jBridged plugins if you so desire (and have jBridge installed).
