trouble rendering audio stretch

I use Sonar 6 PE.   I am tightening up the timing between two tracks, and using "audio stretch" on a few of the phrases in one of the tracks.   It plays great but when I go to render the multiple clips to a single composite track (using "bounce to tracks")  some of the audio stretch clips are rendered just fine and others are rendered as silence.   Very odd.

Has anyone run into this?   Suggestions?

thanks much,

    Just guessing:
Do the stretched clips overlap? What is you recording mode, "Mix old and new" or "overwrite"?

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
