Hi Jamie, what a pleasant surprise.  An old fashioned folk song with harmonica is a nice way to start my day.  I just got X2 working, and I'm looking forward to spending some time with it.  Keep up the good work, and I'll see you around.

    All the best,
    Lynn

Hi Jamie, nice to hear your tune. Ouch on the dislocated finger. Sounds nice and fresh and clear, I like it.

Very nicely done, finger and all!  I like the song, guitar, vocal and Dylan style harp.  A sweet tune.  Welcome to the forum!  Great start.

Nice and mellow. Reminds me of a fellow I used to double bill acoustic gigs with. Gotta learn me some acoustic recording techniques. Hope your finger heals up quick. I've wrecked my tootsies far too many times working and being a spazz. It always sucks waiting for that kind of thing to heal when you just wanna play. Cheers.

Thanks for all your help...I posted a second mix of the track at the same link.  Tried to incorporate suggestions from here and elsewhere.

Nice track! (You really must love this girl haha! j/k)

Dislocated finger? Didn't sound like it and the vocals were pretty solid, too. The simplicity of it all. (And that's odd coming from me since it's buried within the complexities)

Very relaxing sounds like a good campfire or walk the wilderness song (with your SO obviously, but well-suited for a friendly gathering, too)

I like the song.... the recording while simple is effective for the song.

The harp is nice.... Dylan's style for sure.... just the right amount in the right place.

    nice job on the songwriting.
