Side benefit of X2: Melodyne plugin no longer crashing Sonar?

I'm still on Melodyne Editor 1.3.0 (64-bit), and decided to try using the plugin again with X2 just to see what happened. There is a known bug/memory leak in this plugin and the only official line from Celemony is that it is fixed in version 2- a $99 paid upgrade. This made it sound like it couldn't be fixed on Sonar's side, but I'm having a hard time getting it to crash X2 like it crashed in X1 and earlier.

Did the baker's work on the audio engine fix this issue? If so, SUPER kudos!

I'd be interested to know what others are experiencing with this in X2.

Peace,

Tunes
