Direct question to Cake about Breverb.

Hey!

I heard that if you upgrade to the full version of Breverb you will not get the new features in Pro Channel. Is that true? Is there a fix to this?

Sonar's breverb is a special ProChannel version. The full version is only available as a VST. you could set it up in a ProChannel fx chain and use it that way but the full version still doesn't enhance the ProChanel plugin

Hmmm...     I wonder if that means the extra algorithms aren't available in the PC interface...?

I can confirm that when you upgrade to the full version of Breverb that you DO NOT get the additional algorithms in the ProChannel instance. As was mentioned above, you can, however, add full Breverb into a chain instead.

You can always make a ProChannel FX Chain with the full version of BREVERB and use it in the PC though.

You'll be limited to the interface of a PC FX Chain, but youll still have the full version of BREVERB in PC and can have the "most used" parameters right there

Actually you're not completely limited to the PC FX Chain interface, as you can open the full plugin UI from the FX Chain bin in the Pro Channel to use the full UI.

What you don't get is the full version as part of a Pro Channel Module- I remember hearing something about too many parameters- not sure if that's all the reasons, but part of it.

    Peace,
