Pyramid Power - does it really work?

I mean this is really wasting resources throwing your razor every few days or so.
I have recently converted back to old fashion safety razor and recalled that legend with putting your blade inside the pyramid.
But is it a myth already busted or we still don't know?

Only the ancient Egyptians know for sure...

There ARE some very interesting properties that happen with pyramids, but I'm sure there are also a lot that are just hype.

Try it and report back will ya?

I once heard it was good for retuning the micro crystalline structure.

    From this guy:

Who, I think, was using the razor for something other than shaving.

I heard that if you put your guitar inside the pyramid it'll never go out of tune...
Wonder if it's the same with vocalist...

    Nope, doesn't work.

Adam and Jamie debunked it a few seasons ago.

That show is kind of creepy now really. It's been on so long that they are all older looking, but still act like kids. It's kind of weird.

Speaking of weird, gotta go get something to eat.

I don't think the pyramid thing works but if you run the blade under water after using it to clean the gunk out and then immediately dry the blade using a hair dryer, and store it dry..... the blade will last for months.

The blade loses it's edge due to corrosion (rust) on the sharp edge. Keep it dry and rust free and it will last a very long time. Cutting hair will not dull a blade.

    story here>>>>  http://www.clarkhoward.co...single-disposabl/ncxf/

I use an electric shaver and only shave my neck... so I don't know about using wet blades. I'll go without shaving before I'd use one of those things.....

I have doubts about the pyramid thing.  All of those pharoahs that were entombed in them--they're still dead, after all.  I don't know if they're any sharper than when they were entombed.

I bought the original pressing Ambrosia's second LP, "Somewhere I Never Traveled" way back in the 70's.  Later versions did not have this feature.  It came in a sleeve with three panels that could be unfolded to make a pyramid with the sleeve as the base of the pyramid.  Maybe it worked--the band had some success.  I didn't notice that the LP got to be razor sharp, though.

I was in a house once which had a pyramid roof. And the house was orientated to the North. It was strangely calm and serene inside that house.

Then again, the doors and windows were closed so the noise stayed outside mostly and there was no one home at the time except me..... I was there to fix something wrong with the electrical system.

At the NC beach.... most houses are squared up to the ocean and the streets.... but there are a few pyramid roofed houses that are aligned to the compass north instead. I think the folks that live there still have fruit go bad and still need to buy razor blades on a regular basis.

I think they work if they are constructed and set up properly 6 degrees off of dead north. I built one out of plywood one time, 8 foot by 8 foot, I used to sleep in it, like a tent. I only needed 5 hours of sleep and I was completely energized. Blueberries stayed fresh in it for a long time. A mouse got in there and died, I went to remove his body 6 months later and it had not decomposed one bit.

As I was going through the threads this morning I saw you replied to this one in particular, and I said to myself before I even clicked on it, "I bet he's gonna say he built one and slept in it."

    LMFAO!

As for mice decomposing, I don't think they do ... IIRC, they are like 98% water and don't decay, they dehydrate and turn to dust.
