V-Vocal and the human whistle

I'm trying to use V-Vocal on whistling. It's a very simple short section with clear notes. VV has trouble with some notes finding the correct pitch, although others are OK. And when I correct the notes using default settings and just a small correction, I get artifacts (the word "motorboating" comes to mind). I have used VV on vocals with no problems. I would have expected VV to work on a whistle. Is there some reason this is more difficult? Has anyone had success doing this and could give me some tips?

Cheers, Peter.

Not sure. If you can post it online somewhere I'm sure one of us can try running it through Melodyne to see what happens.

    Peace,
