My First Radio Play
I had some of my work played on the radio for the first time the other day. What a great feeling. Its a song i produced which was written and performed by my good friends Chris and Laurette Watson. It was played on BBC Radio Cambridgshire, which for all of you non-Brits is a regional station of our national broadcaster. There is a small clip as proof below and the original song for anyone who is interested. I got a great deal of help and advice from many in this forum and just want to say THANK YOU to you all. http://soundcloud.com/stuartbroughton/bbc-radio-cambs-alone-clip-1 Original Song http://soundcloud.com/stuartbroughton/alone-4-for-radio

Great tune! The modal feeling was quite evident and the "Hopeful Cadence" - I didn't expect. It's like it punched me in the gut! Nice mix and production, too. Congrats to all involved! And you got it on the radio, lucky you!

I love this song, and it is certainly deserving of airplay. Lovely vocal and production. I hope you get many more songs on the air.
