What is the difference between the old arpeggiator and the new?

They said there would be a new powerful arpeggiator... but it just looks the same :S

I see at least the control graphic has changed from 6 knobs to 5 sliders and 1 knob. If anything else has changed I don't know cause I don't use it.

If you look at What's New in the Help Menu, it will take you to this page about the Arpeggiator:

    http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X2&Lang=EN&Req=NewFeatures.3.html#2133614

    Basically, it this:

    Arpeggiator enhancements
New Arpeggiator UI with horizontal sliders, which allows parameter values to display better.
    Improved Arpeggiator real-time performance.

One big difference is that Arp triggering is now much more accurate and tight and will also lock sync with the matrix.

Hi Noel, even though I don't use the Arp, I do use the "Key" & "Time" below it. Do you know why "Key" is no longer double clickable when "Time" still is? I know I can hit f3 but on my laptop I have to hold the "fn" key while doing this.

Also, I notice the text on these windows is hard to read due to low contrast. Any way we could have the text a little lighter?

Thanks for all you guys are doing,
