X2 is a separate install. Unless you have done some sort of custom install, X2 will be a separate folder in your Cakewalk folder! It will prompt you to import your settings into X2 from Expanded. Be aware that it will share folders and content in X1 once it is installed. If you want it to clean install you must delete all versions of Cakewalk and delete some folders in the computers registry. That's where it gets dicey! Just beware that if you delete any content from X1 after your install, it will ravagfe your X2 performance. Also, see the other threads in this forum about the trouble with the Rapture installation. Bottom line, it's not overwriting X1. It is installing along side of it.
