Problem using Frontier Alphatrack in X2

Has anyone experienced any issue using Alphatrack in X2? It worked and still works in X1 but am unable to select outputs in preferences. All .dll files appear to be where they belong but it still won't work.

Works fine for me. Is it in the midi devices section of preferences where you can't select it from, or the control panel section?

    Steven,
    Thanks for the quick response.

No. Just the aduio interface is showing up in the devices. How can I get it to recognize the device?

Been so long since I first set it up that I don't remember.

    Thanks,

    Steven,
My mistake was looking at audio not midi . it does show up in the device menu but when you try to select it and set the input/output it defaults back to blank options.

First go to  "Midi/Control Surfaces" and click the "add new controller box".
Select "alpha track from the menu.
Set the input and output port to "alpha track". If that doesn't work go to "midi/devices"
and make sure the input and output box is checked for the Alpha Track.
Now go back to "Midi/Control Surfaces" and select "alpha track" for both "in port" and "out port".

The alpha track shows up when you add it in the controller window but when you select the input/output and hit apply it defaults the input/output to blank.

My AlphaTrack is working. Windows 8. Sonar X2 Pro x64.

    I plug it in.

    I open Sonar.

I ensure that the Midi is enabled (check the boxes).
Do this with Preferences > Devices > AlphaTrack in input and output (check these)
    ** Click Apply **

Midi > Control Surfaces > Click the Gold star
choose Frontier AlphaTrack (don't default to act midi controller) as the Controller/Surface
Set Input and Output Ports to the AlphaTrack input and output ports
    ** Click Apply **

    This does it for me.

Uninstalled software and reinstalled,it allowed me to select input/output and now the Alphatrack works. Must have just been a gliche.

Thank you all for your help.
