No audio devices message ( Solved )

Sorry if this has been covered but I did a search and haven’t found a solution yet. I have been getting the following  message:
There are no audio devices for the current driver model on your system. Please go to Edit / Preferences / Audio / Playback and Recording and choose a different driver model.
Everything has worked fine for a long time. One day I was getting erratic playback and tried adjusting the latency slider in preferences. I closed Sonar X1D Expanded and when I reopened it I got the above error message. I loaded X2 and the patch and still get the same error message with X2. So far I have reloaded the UCA222 driver (64bit) and reset the aud.ini file in preferences. Still no love. Any help would be appreciated.

    remove the unit..
uninstall the audio driver for that behringer
get/run ccleaner off filehippo.com (registry tabs)

reboot WITHOUT the unit in.. install drivers, then shut down.... reboot WITH unit it..

if you put it in a different usb port etc then maybe it's confused ... also you might find having it NOT as a windows default soundcard solves the problem

Thanks for the reply Fog. I disabled the on board Realtek SC, launched X2 and all is well. Not sure what happened to change things but it's working now.

The Realtek wasn't showing up in Sonar Preferences. I normally leave it un checked too.
