X2 reporting wrong bit depth... HELP!

X2 reporting wrong bit depth... HELP!

I'm using a MOTU HD192 audio interface. When I load new or existing projects in X2, it displays that they are 16 bit when they should be 24 bits. I can close X2, then immediately load the same projects in X1 and X1 displays 24 bits as it should.

Any ideas?

    Is your import bit depth setting in X2 different? Find it in preferences-->File--->Audio data. If that is set to 16 that would explain it.
