Problems with AudioSnap in take lanes

I was neck deep in the middle of a session in X2 today and had multiple takes on a track.

I expanded out the take lanes and enabled AudioSnap on a clip within a take lane.  No matter what I tried, I could not drag a transient marker.  I ended up having to abandon the take and record a new one.

There seems to be an issue with AS in take lanes.  I've never seen this in X1 with the old layers approach.  Anyone else seen this?

OK, been using this more and more today and it's a bug.  Grabbing transient markers in X2 is a bit difficult in general in X2, but grabbing them in take lanes is impossible - it's broken.  I will log this with CW.

I take it that for you, all the takes produced markers when you set the panel to "audio Transients"? I'm not able to produce transient markers at all on a take, until i delete all but one take. I don't know if that's a bug or i just don't have the hang of take lanes yet. I haven't tried moving markers yet, just quantizing the selected take.

Yes, even getting the markers to show up is difficult. I found by first enabling AS, then double-clicking the clip (requiring you to then close the groove-clip windows) once or twice will sometimes then cause the markers to show. But yes, AS seems to be very buggy in X2.

Are you sure you have the lanes edit filter set to transients? I can't reproduce that behaviour here unless I have the track edit filter on "Transients" and the lane filter on "Clips".

That way the transients are visible but unselectable. If I change the lane filter to transients they work as expected.

I'm assuming that is by design allowing different lanes to have different types of data to edit.

It seems to be working here so far...

Tho it took me a moment to realize that there are separate edit filters for each lane now...

My problem is how AS always seems to create some kind of artifact such as a click or phased audio... I have not had a lot of luck using it since it's inception (AS)...
