This just in--Danny Bonaduce bitten by rabid fan!

I don't care for the guy much past The Partridge Family, but I wouldn't want to see this happen to him.

Who knows ... the nut job that bit him could have AIDS or some other disease.

My brother is a cop and he got bit by a drunk woman one night when he was breaking up a fight. It was summer and he was wearing a short sleeve uniform shirt and she got him on the bare part of his arm. IIRC he had to get tested for AIDS for 6 months afterward, maybe longer. She just barely drew blood, but even if she hadn't, I think I would have gotten tested anyway ... as should Bonaduce.

Thanks. Yes, he's ok. I remember when it happened, he had this massive bruise on his arm and you could see where each tooth penetrated his skin. That was in the mid 90's so.

Anyway ... I hope Bonaduce doesn't pick up anything nasty.

It made my white shirt all red and soggy.

Well, heck, since we're on that path ...

Two things happened to me that caused a blood bath.

My parents used to own a restaurant in a tiny town. Everyone knew each other. Our neighbor used to come in at night to eat and would play with me. I was 6. I ran after him when he left the restaurant one night and put my hand through the bottom half of the door that was glass. Blood everywhere. Still have the scar on my hand from that.

Snuck up behind a barn cat one night in the alley behind the apartment building we lived in. I was about 8 or 9. It was fun sneaking up on them to see how close I could get before they took off. Well, this one night I got right up on him and scooped him up. Oh baby. He let loose on me like Jack The Ripper on Viagra with a fresh razor blade. Both hands cupped, and full by the time I got up to the apartment.

I worked as a product development scientist at a consumer healthcare / pharmaceutical company for several years that had an oral care division and I remember one time that the marketing group was thinking about running an ad campaign revolving around a “Your mouth is dirtier than a … “ theme.  They were going to compare the human mouth to things you normally think of as dirty or gross so the microbiologists went out and about a certain town in NJ and swabbed the backs of buses, sewer grates, fire hydrants, etc.  I don’t think they ever used it as a marketing campaign but it was pretty easy for the microbiologists to show that the human mouth is relatively filthy wrt microorganisms.

Tackling a guy, his head hit me square in the mouth.
My mom thought I had been killed when I got home, there was so much blood on my shirt.
The doc spent more than a few minutes pulling lip flesh from my braces and I got 4 stitches on the inside of my upper lip.

In other news, Susan Dey is reportedly now being considered for a role in the next Resident Evil movie.  It is unclear at this time whether or not Danny Bonaduce will have a brief cameo appearance.  Producers did not respond to speculation that a multi-coloured bus will be featured.
