This is a nice way to start my day.  I love her voice, and the sparse arrangement showcases her voice quite well.  You have a winner here.

    All the best,

Sounds pretty good but compared to the other stuff I listened to this morning..... the volume is lower than it should be.

It has a distant sound to it as well.... maybe reverb? Kinda hard to tell exactly with the low levels. And I ran the player's volume slider all the way up and had my speakers turned up past where I normally have them set to listen to music on these sites.

Hi congalocke.  Good job on the mix.  Are you using any sort of Mastering software or is this just the mixddown tracks?  If you aren't using a Mastering suite, I can recommend iZotope Ozone5.  It will boost your volume, put some sparkle in the mix, and give it a polished sound.  I use it on all my mixes now and am very happy with it.

Jamie has a great voice!  Make her a little more intelligible for us!!

The whole world is a critic, huh?  LOL

Good job, keep up the good work.

    Cheers!

Hey everyone...thanks for enjoying and the criticism. I gave the mp3's not expecting them to get posted and I will certainly work on that...I have the concrete limiter in Sonar X1 and would limit up to 3 db's but my gain staging may have been off for the Master Bus so away I go;-) THX Again!!!
