what is the best way to use .gig files?  kontakt 5?

    If you happen to own GVI (giga virtual instrument), I've been using it via jbridge as GVI.64 and it works great. Some instruments convert good in Kontakt, some don't.

    G-player has a pretty low overhead and works great even in WIn 7

    I'm using SOnar Platinium on a 6 core Lynx Audio machine and a ton of vintage pre-amps/eq's/comps I build for fun and sometimes money, REDD.47/API/Neve I also use the UAD stuff, and also use a Macbook Logic 9 through Apogee...
