Keeping Session Notes within Sonar?

Is there a way to keep Session/Recording notes in Sonar? For example, is there a way to note the signal chain of my guitar tracks?

thanks.

There is a note section for each track. You can also use the lyric view also

Under Project -> Info is a whole page for notes. It's where I keep the lyrics and other info.

In the Inspector window select Track in the header tabs (Clips, Track, ProCh)

Click under Description and type away. just do continuous typing dont hit enter for a carriage return as the text will automatically scroll, hitting Enter finishes your typing and you have to click in the box again to continue or edit the text.

+1 for Stephen (tKx5050).  I use that Info page for copyright information and other notes.  One some narrated songs (or rap), that is a good place for lyrics.  (For standard songs (melody and lyrics) I always have a MIDI meloldy track with lyrics in the lyrics view.)

Just do continuous typing dont hit enter for a carriage return as the text will automatically scroll, hitting Enter finishes your typing and you have to click in the box again to continue or edit the text.

Pressing ctrl+enter in this situation inserts a carriage return. I think this is a standard Windoze feature.

I have no idea about how difficult or feasible it would be, but it would be useful if we had the possibility of pasting and saving Windows shortcuts to documents somewhere within projects. Both the Info page and track notes would be good places for that.

Jose, can you explain a bit on what kinds of shortcuts you want to save?

    Thanks,

Links to text files in the computer. Click and open them in Wordpad, or other text editor. Instead of having limited text fields, to be able to link other files to the project for reference. Maybe emails if the project is a  collaborative effort. Or images. Or URL links. Get the idea?

So I'm guessing if I were to do a "save as" it would it be updated accordingly with each one (new notes wouldn't appear in older versions)?
