X2 Extras

I installed X2 before I downloaded the new (Are they?) Dim Pro 1.5 expansion packs or the loops and one-shots.

Dim pro works nicely, but I don't think it's using the new packs.

Are the expansion packs packs that came with X2 different? How Do I install them if they are different? And how do I make Sonar see the Loops and one-shots?

Thanks for any help.

The loops and one shots seem to be from Beatscape, which came with SONAR back around version 8 or so. Can be useful if you're into that.

You access them through the browser window where they can be auditioned.

The DimPro expansion packs have been part of the basic install for sometime so it's likely you already have them if you already have DP installed.

Yes, they are different.  I haven't played much with Dim Pro yet, but I did check the folder size, before and after (install of expansion).  It got significantly larger after the install....

Also - I'm not in from of my DAW right now, so I'm going from memory - IIRC, the default sounds load into a folder called "Bundled".  The expansion ones go into a different sub-folder.

BTW, mine was a clean X2/Dim Pro install.  No Sonar 8 or X1 previously.

Not saying mudgel is mistaken... Only that my install showed something different.
