piano roll has been improved

Now that I have had a chance to play around with X2 studio I'm pleased to see that the piano roll has been improved. In X1 I found this a bit of a hindrance as when moving notes it would not let me move them to the exact place I wanted it no matter what I tried. I have loaded an old project into X2 with no issues and opened up the piano roll and played around and have been able to move my drum patterns to how I want them to sound. Visually the whole package is crisper, and the audio engine sounds better (that maybe me installing 64 bit from 32 bit) Looking forward to laying down some vocals Thursday when my mate comes round so I will be playing with V vocal most the day. Overall I'm pleased with X2 and am enjoying my experience.

I agree - it's a lot nicer. I also agree on the audio engine. Not gapless but damn close.
I don't want to stir up a hornet's nest but I came across this "hybrid score" view in the new Vielklang 2 autoharmonizer - and thought it would be a nice addition as an "overlay" or "sub-view" in the Piano View in SONAR X2 -
Not suggesting this in favor of fixes to the staff view - (nor as a replacement to the piano keyboard in PRV - maybe in addition to?

Thanks for the encouraging comments on PRV.  I never got into it before, but thought about giving it another chance.

You probably had you snap set to Musical Time instead of Absolute Time.

One of the new enhancements I absolutely LOVE about the PRV is the horizontal aim-assist!

What an absolute Godsend that is!
