X2 manual errata?

Where can we submit errors in the manual?

For instance, page 129:

Click on the Smart tool in the Control Bar. You can also enable this tool by pressing the F5 key

on your computer keyboard. To draw a note with the Smart tool, click on the grid.

To create a note, click on the grid at measure 1.

I know it's minor, but you have to click and drag out a note with the smart tool. To get a note by simply clicking, you have to hold down ALT as ever, or am I missing something? If I'd never used the PRV before and was following these instructions, I'd be a little confused when clicking with the smart tool didn't do anything.

This is a good question. Now that the doc is online, it would be nice to have a separate reporting mechanism from the regular support email for errata. Until then I guess you need to submit it as a bug http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Email.asp

Hmmm, it's a little awkward filling in their bug report form as a manual errata (steps/expected/resulted etc) so I think I'll just hang tight and wait for them to post an errata link!

Hopefully they will see this thread and create one. In the mean time maybe a call to tech support might prod them along.

The procedure for these has been in the past to submit them as a 'Feature Request'.  They do indeed get looked at - I have seen a couple of mine get addressed that way, so I do know they look at and act on those.

    Hope that helps,
