Is it possible to export multiple clips while retaining thier length?

I have about 15 stereo clips all on their own tracks I would like to export them to a folder.  The problem is each clip is a different length and all the clips end up the length of the longest clip with silence at the end.  I could export 1 at a time,  but as I may be doing this process a lot, I would like to do this in one step.

I'm hoping there is something simple i'm missing?

The audio clips are already saved in the project audio folder, aren't they?

Couldn't you just find them and copy/paste them to wherever you want to send them?

I have some fades and mastering effects that I apply during export.  I'm guessing I could bounce to clips first.  I was just hoping to export to a seperate folder in 1 simple step. It would work great except the lenght of the files.    For now i'm exporting one at a time as a work around.

Yeah - sorry I do not know of a way.  Maybe something in that CAL or whatever it is?

I'm pretty sure you can do this. Make sure that nothing is selected, then export audio and choose source category = tracks.
Then export and you should get each track output at its exact length.
The caveat here is that you must have your effects on the track bins rather than in buses.

yup, just select "tracks" this is an awesome feature in Sonar that makes exporting/archiving stems easy.

I'm in the process of making two back ups of each project:

    1) Exported Stereo Stems at Unity Gain

    2) OMF

with these two back ups I return the integrity of the final mix in the Stems, and the flexibility to recover raw audio tracks (and pre-mix) project in the OMF.

You can see how this works with stems by checking out these two projects:

I'll give that a try.  I was selecting tracks so I would only get the tracks I wanted, but i'm thinking I can archive the unwanted tracks so they don't create unwanted files.
