NOW time strangeness

This is going to be really hard to explain I think. Basically, even though now time is set to "left click sets now time", the now time is going to random spots close to the snap grip, but not quite right. It was working fine but I have cycled thought now time options (always going back to beat/bars/etc) The only other thing I changed to the project is I opened the navigator. If anyone can confirm, help, play around with this it would be great :)

This is p...ing me off a bit. Everything I did in every project worked perfectly until I clicked through the cycles on the time display/opened the navigator. Now it's a mess in one project. Gotta be something I'm doing wrong. but regardless of the line in the project snapping to where it should, it places the now time a little off. I can hit w and it snaps back. I don't think I'm explaining this well, hopefully someone understands.

What's your snap intensity set to?   How about the grid?

Hmmmmmmmm. Saving that might help. Grrrrrrrrrr. Maybe I need to step away from the "chalupa" and get a fresh brain!

Ok, now the now time doesn't work at all with left click selected. You have to go to the header to use it. it's a pre project thing......how can that be??

I'm bumping this again too because it seems to be related to my midi loop recording issue. If I have the snap settings at extreme, shouldn't the now time snap to my grid settings? The aim says measure 5 for example, but it will sometimes snap just off. wt blank??
