Regarding the minimum screen size

I have SONAR X1 producer as well as LE, and a number of other products.  I have not not done much more than keep up with the patches.  Now I want to get back "into the game", and I was contemplating the upgrade to X2.  However, I noticed on the system requirements that the minimum screen size is 1280 x 800.

So this means that I cannot run on any laptop that I own unless I hook up to an external monitor.  There are laptops out there with dense screens, but I do not have one.  My desktop monitors are "old school" 4:3 geometry.

Although purchasing a new wide screen monitor might be a good idea, I am wondering why Cakewalk decided to require a screen size that many people do not have, especially in affordable laptops?

(Not to show my age, but I started when Cakewalk was a DOS application!)

Are you sure that they are not 5:4 1280x1024?  Unless your monitors are old-old-school, i.e. CRT.
