Now time and timeline zoom oddity

I noticed after I had split some tracks using snap to whole measures that when I zoomed way in the tracks did not line up with the time line. They "appeared" to off by several ticks visually. Also the "Now Time" line disappeared. I used the "Aim Assist" and verified the clips were not on the Whole Measure visually when I was zoomed way in... First I thought I had some how made an editing error, but clicking on the clip and looking at the Event time, the clip was actually in the correct spot. Just appeared to be off... This is NOT good. I want to be able to edit in small areas and know I'm lining clips up perfectly rather than zoom back out for those edits. I can post an image if this is not making a lot of sense.

Anyone else see this?
