newby question: Installed X2. No presets installed for Rapture, Dimension PRO, etc

newby question: Installed X2. No presets installed for Rapture, Dimension PRO, etc

I just installed the upgrade to X2 from an X1 installation.  

I am a newby to both X1 and X2. 

When I go to use the soft-synths, I see no presets installed, but it seems like I should be getting a bunch of presets with these soft-synths?

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with a Core i7 CPU with 9 GB RAM.

    Are you saying you clicked in the "Empty Program" entry and the program browser came up empty or the VST GUI has not presets? The VST GUI not having presets is normal. An empty program browser is a problem.

    OK, thanks.

    I got it.   I was clicking in the wrong place. (on presets instead of the 'Empty Program' entry)

    I suppose I may need to read manuals and not just expect everything to be intuitive.  :)

    Good, no problem. BTW, when you start looking for detailed help for a specific synth remember to open the synth GUI and press the F1 key.
