PRV In X2
Does anyone know how you get the piano roll view to open like it used in X1? I mean full window with all features when clicking on a midi clip? I know I can drag it from mulitdock but not the same as x1? Cant seem on get on with it the way it is now? also it doesn't show piano keys like it used to, just numbers? Thanks in advance.

Well there's something going on there because my PRV definitely shows keys instead of numbers!

That kinda looks like a drum map.

Ahhh my mistake! realised I opened a midi track that didn't have a synth installed for that track (recently done a clean install) replaced synth and opens as it should with the keys showing. Surely it should show keys regardless of whether synth is installed or not? How do you set it to open in full window without multidock?

Once you have the PRV tab in the multi dock, double click the PRV tab and it will open full screen. Double click the tab again and it will collapse it to the multi dock. I'm betting there are other keystrokes to open PRV full screen from the clips (alt/cntl/shift...) but I don't know them. Need to search.

garrigus Shift + D to open the MultiDock to full width. Scott Ah, yes. It would be Scott to come up with the answer. Scott, when can we expect an X2 Power Book? I've owned others of yours in the past (always useful), but going from 8.5 to X2, I know you could help. Best, Rob

Shift + D and D while opening and enlarging the multidock doesn't open the PRV without the multidock though which was Rasure's question at post #4..... How do you set it to open in full window without multidock?

I'm using this extra time to base the book on the final version rather than the beta, but I've still got quite a bit of work to do. So, it's still a few months away. You can be sure I'll be announcing it loud and clear when the time comes. Thanks for asking and I appreciate your support! Scott -- Scott R. As with any "floating" window from any program, just double-click the header bar or click the "square" to the far top right and it expands full screen. With Windows 7 you can also drag the PRV (or any window) to the top of your screen until it turns blue and let go. If you want it left in the Multidock, double-click it's tab. Steve
