    1. Press X to turn off aim assist or deselect it from the edit menu.
    2. Change the snap setting to the resolution you want and also the move setting to move by.
    3. Click and drag move clips, holding the shift key to constrain movement if required.

Oi! Karl!! Do you never get any time off!!!

I've not had a chance to help anyone here for a while. Probably since you resurfaced from creating your X2 Vid (which I still haven't watched yet ffs).

LOL.... This is my time off. If I didn't have this place distracting me I'd get far more music made (and finished more to the point).

    A very good point.

I lost my way for a while and summer of this year I decided to get back ino making music, which started by upgrading to the latest version of Sonar.

I've go plenty of "experimentation" projects on the go, but nothing I could post here...

Still, is can be just as gratifying, helping others, can't it lol.

Cheers, I didn't know about the 'X' function in X1. The thing is, the Move by switch is in the Snap and Nudge options in X1 but I can't find it under Snap or Nudge in X2. Any idea where it's gone? Thanks M

It's in the snap module next to the snap on/off. It now looks a bit like a switch you move up or down.

Thanks. I wondered what that was but the balloon text was unhelpful - should have looked closer :-) M

I have to agree with you FBB.  Looking at this forum and responding to threads is like being addicted to the 'no no channel'  (food network).

I still can't cook worth a hoot, but I know how to say things like 'flavor profile' and 'audio transient peaks', and all kinds of other kewl stuff.

I truly have learned SOOOO much through this forum, it feels good when I can give back by helping somebody else out, since so many have helped me.
