    Melting wax is dangerous.

Don't ask me how I know.

Your pickup winder looks great. I may have missed how you finally solved the never ending search for a turns counter... what'd you do?

    best regards,
    mike

Dude*... I just got back from a 12 hour shift with Emeril... and you were the first person I thought of. ;-)

    ;-)
*no offense... I just got off the beach and everyone is a dude.

LOL....I was wondering where you were. I could use a visit to the beach and
would say dude to get to go.

I got a different reed switch. It will not stop counting when I max it out.
The issue of accuracy is still alive though.
So now I have a box full of electronic goodies that includes Hall Effect and
optic sensors...and one day I will understand how to connect all those little pieces. :)

Yeah the gig with Emeril sounds cool. I hung with many of the techs from the old show
Current Affair...they were great to be around. A friend from the old Hollywood that
produced a big show for many years....can't remember but want to say General Hospital...
had to help them with a lighting issue one time and it was a cool surprise...I didn't know
they knew him but they called him for help...you guys behind the scenes can sure be a
fun group so hope it's going on for you too. ( don't ask me how I know these kind of people
because I'll never admit it anyway) :)

Well I thought of you too. I was listening to Django....and when I got to Toublant Bolero
I thought....I bet Mike could with his new axe....now that would be good.
But personally I'd lean to Swing 42.  :)

Thanks for putting a big smile on my face. The best thing about this particular gig is that every place we visit is making us some incredible food to eat!!! :-) I'm still lurking but too exhausted to post much. I'm gonna want to build a winder someday. You work is very inspiring. best, mike
