Slow Moe (Blues)

After a wee bit of an absence, I am back to annoy by posting simple and silly little songs.  I am not sure what started the idea for this song but I just started having fun and decided to finish it.  I hope it gives you a bit of a giggle.  By the way, even though it is a silly song there is a bit of a message to this number.

As usual any tips, advice, crit's, etc., are always and gratefully appreciated.  Thanks!

Freddy hello my friend. You know I love ya - love your music - love more all the time - keeps getting moe better.

Your voice, I think it's got more character than anyone here on this site - so cool.

Maybe it's time for us to do another tune together.

This was a lot of fun Freddy - keep them coming.

Freddy, you helped to jump start my day.  I love your interpretation of the blues.  One has to live the blues to be able to write them like you do.  Please stay away from the Prozac.

    Hey, Freddy,

Really nice job on this very cool piece of nitty-gritty delta blues!

Clever theme and lyrics, tasty vintage blues guitar solos, and I really like the blues harp fills running throughout the verses and chorus.

Great stuff, Freddy, and have a nice weekend!

Thanks for the comments Robby.  You know why all the women love Slow Moe don't you?  It's because he IS so slow --- that's all  ;>)

Hi Eric.  Thanks for listening and for the kind comments.

Mark.  Hi buddy.  You are most kind with your generous comments.  Well heck ya -- I would love to do another number with you.  It would be a real treat (for me) to do another tune together.  I have something in mind that could use that wonderful "CLEAN" touch.  I have a bunch of papers to grade but as soon as I am done I will PM you with a sample to see if you are interested.  Thanks again.

Hi Lynn.  Prozac? ---- naw, I don't touch the stuff.  I need more sugar and caffeine ;>)  I'm very glad that this little number might have brought a smile to your face.  Thanks for the listen and for the kind words.

Hey John.  Thanks for listening and thanks very much for the very kind comments.  I'm glad that it brought on a smile.

Thank you Bob!!  I very much appreciate your feedback.  I hope that your album is selling well.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment Shawn.  I appreciate it.

Thank you John. I appreciate the comments.

Hey Frank.  As you are the Blues Master of the forum, I appreciate your feedback.

Hi Mark.  I had fun doing this song.  Some times it seems that when you are relaxed and just having fun, stuff just seems to come together better. Thanks for your kind words.

I LUV THE BLUES!  I just had to get that off of my chest.  Thank you very much James.  I appreciate the kind words.  Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.

I like the tune Freddy. maybe if Moe hung out with Joe you would get more speed out of them. Moe Joe together can get a lot of things done. anyway cool blues tune.

Well this is messed up, I commented on this Fredaaaaaay! And I don't recall my comment being something that the Admins would delete? But I am arguably one of the more "controversial" posters... :-) So **** happens! Great song man! Sorry, I'm going to go take a ****, and then wipe some **** off my a..? I'll be back soon though. But I really enjoyed your **** on this? I think it's a classic example of your ****. I wouldn't **** you. Really good classic ****.

Not my absolute fave of yours (mebbe it's a grower) but great to hear you back doing what you do best. I'd bring the drums up some. This stuff always reminds me of smokey roadhouse style bars.

    Bring it on Freddy.

The sooner the better. I have duyptrens disease in my left hand and am having surgery to correct it on November 16 - I probably won't be able to play very well for a couple of months after that.

    So, get on it.

Moe has to go with the flow. Maybe a couple but debatable little bit rough areas in the song, but overall, well done then.

Hi Marcus.  Everything seems to go better when Moe Joe is working right ;>)   Thanks for listening and for taking the time to comment.

Hey Robby and gee thanks a **#@!&?  lot for your ^&***!???=^ input and kind comments ;>)  Hey controversy can be a good thing sometimes.

Hi Tom!  Great to hear from you and thanks for the input.  I was using some commercial loops for the drums on this.  The were a bit weak so I tried a number of plug-ins to goose up the sound but the only one that half way worked was Camel Crusher (of all the programs -- go figure??) and it too was not much use.  I am open for any suggestions as to what I can do to improve it though.  Thanks again.

Hey Paulo.  I'm sorry that you didn't like the song but I do appreciate the input.  May be pulling up the volume on the drums might help the fix needed.  Thanks again for the input.

Mark -- you got it my friend.  I can't wait to see what you will add to what I sent you.  Everything always sounds better with that CLEAN touch.  All the best with the surgery and please keep all of us informed on your recovery.

Hello Al.  Your right -- my stuff is always a bit rough.  I guess you need to know what you are doing to avoid the rough spots but I'm afraid I am lacking in that area.  Thanks for taking the time to listen and I appreciate the feedback.
