Sonar X2 Crash - CWBRN-11689
Sonar X2 Crash - Start New Blank Project
- Load Dim Pro (x64) as Simple Instrument Track
- Insert Console Emulator In PC
- Insert Module FX Chain
- The Load FX Chain Preset Into Newly Create FX Chain
- CRASH
Seems to happen all the time when Console Emulator is already in the PC as a default template when track is loaded, happens only sometimes when its a blank PC and Console emulater is added. A dump file was created and submitted to cakewalk CWBRN-11689

That caused my X2 to crash and I have the QuickFix installed. Edit: OK I checked and my 8.3 name creation registry entry was set to 2 and not 0. Will reboot and test again. Edit 2: Rebooted after changing the 8.3 registry entry and it still crashed. Houston, we have a problem.

Thanks I looked at your crash dump and was able to reproduce it. The problem only occurs with instrument tracks. Well fix it for the next update.

Great! I think if we can focus on reproducible crashes, then we'll get to the bottom of it.
