How not to follow the vertical playback line while editing

Hi, I would like to know how to set it, if it is possible, so that I can edit a field of a project with playback on and X1 won't follow the vertical playback line and won't go to that field of the project that the vertical playback line covers. Thank you

    Press the scroll lock key on your keyboard.

    Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    Thank you, simple as that, btw is there not somewhere as an option to be checked or unchecked, only scroll lock does it?

    No, there's no option in Sonar itself. The scroll lock is the only way. If there was another way to do it, it would not be as easy as pressing 1 key (scroll lock)
